   The road looked like this the first time we came.   Team Kaugmaran is assigned at Brgy. Poblacion, Lakewood Zamboanga del Sur. It consists of 14 puroks. The total population of the municipality is 18,873 distributed among 3,513 households. Most of the people living there are Bisaya while the remaining are divided among Subanens, Muslims, and few Zamboanguenios. Fishing and Farming are their primary source of income. Lakewood is also known for their abundance of coconut trees.   The means of transportation can either be by land or by water. Most people own a vehicle like motorcycles and vans especially those who live in the Poblacion. They use it to go in and out of lakewood. On the other hand, those people living on the other side of the lake uses boats to cross the other side.The means of transportation can either be by land or by water. The lake, which is situated in the middle of the municipality, is its main attraction.There is also a cold spring located deep within the poblacion.  There is another attraction, it is located in Biswangan, Lakewood. It is a resort owned by a well-known politician. With 3 other teams also assigned in Brgy. Poblacion, puroks were divided and distributed to 4 groups evenly. Our team was given purok 4, 6, 9, and 12 to look after. In connection to this, our team will be planning (and currently executing) our 4-year Comprehensive Health Plan. Kaugmaran's 4-year CHP involves the top four most prioritized health problems (as prioritized by the people of Lakewood) among the 4 puroks mentioned: Improper Garbage Disposal, ARI, Malnutrition, and Diarrhea. We, Team Kaugmaran, present to you our journey to the community... The group is composed of these energetic people, namely: Haj- the group leader Kat- the girl with the 'dimples' Roski- the girl they call "kim sam-soon" April- the 'kulot' Mar- the 'platinum-pop singing sensation' Cess- the 'princess' of lakewood Maam Ja- the 'soaring eagle' Al- the 'Zohan' .....and now.....our newest recruit....he is a man of few words but with great humor... Team Kaugmaran proudly presents........... Brian as Superman...
